Top Ten (and More) Ways to Support the APS of Orange County

  1. Volunteer! Check out the latest volunteer opportunities at animalprotectionsociety.org.
  2. Visit www.animalprotectionsociety.org regularly. Check out available dogs and cats, the latest information on our programs and upcoming events
  3. Visit our adoption center regularly. Our amazing dogs and cats are always happy to see you!
  4. Utilize all the services available at our sanctuary and tell your friends and family. The APS Adoption Center, APS Dog Training Program and Dog Park, Nicks Road Veterinary Clinic—we’re a full-service animal rights organization making friends for life!
  5. Donate! Donate to the APS Annual Fund. Become an APS member for just $35. Get your employer to match your gifts to APS. Make your gift in honor or memory of a beloved person or pet.
  6. Donate in other ways. Check out our wish list of needed items at www.animalprotectionsociety.org. Make a donation at our website. Designate APS in your workplace giving campaign and ask your friends to do the same. Visit the APS Sanctuary and purchase our latest T-shirt/sweatshirt—cool fashion for you and free advertising for us! We have kids’ sizes too! Look for one of our new donation boxes and drop in your spare change—it adds up!
  7. Make a gift of stock, set up a charitable remainder trust, put APS in your will. Call us and we’ll help you with the process.
  8. Support our events or hold a smaller one of your own and ask friends and family to donate. A yard sale, a potluck dinner, a classroom project—get creative about it and we’ll tell the story in our newsletter!
  9. Order a ceramic tile in honor or memory of a beloved pet and it will become a permanent part of the new adoption center—help us cover the walls with inspiration! Your gift will be tax-deductible minus the actual cost of the tile, and 75 percent of the proceeds will support APS operations while 25 percent will support our capital campaign for the adoption center. Personality Profile: I'm a very sweet and smart dog. I love to have my ears and belly scratched. I absolutely love toys and treats. I am also housebroken. Currently I am in a foster home with 5 other dogs and I get along great with all of them. My ideal home with have another dog to show me the ropes and a fenced yard.

Personality Profile: I was a fabulous mother to five kittens who have all been adopted. I also helped take care of 6 other kittens that weren't biologically mine -- but I loved them like they were my own. I get along great with other felines.
