VOLUNTEER!

We’ve added a twist to our Grand Marshall Contest this year by renaming it APS PET IDOL. This competition begins in Mid-June. We welcome all owners of pets that are good natured, love to be around lots of people and other pets and of course are spayed and neutered to enter. The APS Pet IDOL will be announced the morning of the walk and lead the Walk for Animal Protection!

In October, the contest goes online in the Chapel Hill News Website for all of Orange County to help choose the winner! Encourage friends and family to vote!

Personality Profile: I'm a very sweet and smart dog. I love to have my ears and belly scratched. I absolutely love toys and treats. I am also housebroken. Currently I am in a foster home with 5 other dogs and I get along great with all of them. My ideal home with have another dog to show me the ropes and a fenced yard.

Personality Profile: I was a fabulous mother to five kittens who have all been adopted. I also helped take care of 6 other kittens that weren't biologically mine -- but I loved them like they were my own. I get along great with other felines.
