I am a mellow being that causes ZERO trouble. I love laps, tv, sun rays, and crunchy treats. I want a companion I can spend lots of time with and I promise to keep their lap warm. I get along great with other cats! I like to groom them affectionately, especially my girl Mattie.

I'm an extremely friendly, loving cat who will let you love on me for a very long time. I don't even mind my belly rubbed as long as you are nice and gentle. I have an extra pound or two, but since I love the feather wand so much, I could probably lose that in no time with frequent play sessions.

I was in a very nice foster home for a few months, and here is what my foster mom has to say about me:

“Shoshi is a WONDERFUL cat. Very playful and vocal, not one bad habit. No furniture scratching. Very well-behaved. She is  very sweet and loving, not afraid of anything (she's not a scaredy-cat!) and loved my dog. They would often cuddle up together. No one was a stranger to this cat!  I can't think of one negative about Shoshi.  She is VERY smart too; she knows the word "no" really well. Certainly among the brightest cats I've ever had, if not the brightest!”

I get along with other cats, but I like to be the boss! I have a lot of pride and can kill a feather toy with the best of them! I would be a good cat for those experienced with spunky cats because you will need to understand my body language when I am ready to be Miss Independent. I have good litter box skills, and a great sense of humor. And if you couldn't already tell, I am soft, fluffy, and beautiful. I want to be treated like the queen of your abode!

I am a quiet lovely lady. I love to sit in laps and get petted for hours. I get along with other cats and love cozy, snuggly beds. I would like a more quiet home , but I still have a lot of life and love in me!

I am a really neat kitty cat that will make you laugh. Yes, my expression is nearly always that wide-eyed and comical. I always think you are playing when you reach to pet me, and will playfully swat you. Some don't mind; but others do, so make sure you are ready to be my playmate if you take me home! If you have lots of feather wands and other interactive toys, we'll get along and have a fun-filled life together!

I am part of the office staff here at the APS adoption center, and if you've been here before, you've probably petted me a time or two. How about taking me home then, and stop toying with my emotions? Don't let my age be a distraction. My previous owner had to go overseas and thought the travel would not be good for me. I would love to find a home where I can sit on your lap and take a long nap. I love when people talk or sing to me. It makes me purr and give head butts. I really hate dogs I don't know, and am not afraid to show it. However, I have made peace with a few canine regulars around here, so I might be able to cope if necessary. As long as those darn dogs understand that I'm the real boss, and leave my calico tail (and the rest of me!) alone.

My first owner gave me up because I didn't want to hunt mice and kept on trying to come inside to get warm. At heart, I'm a gentle giant of a cat. If you adopt me,  I'd be a calm and peaceful presence in your home. I am also very inquisitive, as shown in my picture. I don't mind being picked up or held, and am happy to be a lap cat for hours. I do enjoy going outside to sunbathe, so an indoor-outdoor home in a rural setting would be fantastic for me.

Okay, okay, I need to lose some weight. I do have a lot to love and a lot of love to give. I adjust quickly to new situations, love all people, and get along wonderfully with other cats. I love to be brushed and am a super easy going girl!

I would be a lucky guy to go home with you, and I will pay you back tenfold with my friendly nature and laid back ways. I don't mind being picked up and am really well behaved at the vet's office (the APS was impressed)! I also like children, I like to be there protectors if you have any, so don't mind me following that kid around! I just want a few pairs of legs to rub up against. Lately, I have shown interest in going outdoors and exploring. Perhaps an indoor/outdoor home would be the way to keep me entertained and fulfilled. I am maybe a dog in a cats body, because I also love water, and going on car rides!

 

Sadie

I am an affectionate cat that loves having my head rubbed, comes when called by name, likes one on one attention and just relaxing on living room couches as well. I likes to chase my own tail on occasion too! I would do best as an only pet, or perhaps with other cat savvy pets. My foster mom has had me since the beginning of summer  when I was nursing four baby kittens. Now I'm on my own and ready to be the center of attention. I have made a fabulous foster cat and would like someone to be my family forever!
